Gardening Time
Today’s blog is a little different and a trial in some ways. I have never blogged furniture and decorations before, usually choosing to create a photo and then post it onto my Flickr page. The inspiration came to me yesterday, as I have a back garden, which looks empty and incomplete, so I decided to do a little shopping and get some ideas for starting to make the back garden actually look like a garden and not just a blank green rectangle with a hedgerow border.
The first item that caught my eye was this quaint garden shed. In RL I remember when moving into my house that my partner was delighted at the fact that there is a garden shed and here I was at Chez Moi Furnitures in SL thinking to myself that this adorable shed will look wonderful in my garden. There is a menu with different poses, from seeding, watering and even weeding. I love it.
Once all the gardening is done on a lovely sunny spring day, there is nothing like sitting in your garden with a beverage of your choice and just enjoying the outdoors, so I decided that I also need a chair. I found the perfect garden chair at What Next. There are 3 chairs in the pack, either with or without cushions and a throw and there are numerous poses for just relaxing, eating, drinking and reading.
To complete my garden corner, I remember that I had recently bought a hazelnut tree by Little Branch from the February round of Sense Event. I love Little Branch trees and flowers, they are stunning. Also included in the hazelnut tree box is a hill and some plain and fluffy grass, so you can create your own landscape. For my back garden I chose to place my tree and some grass to complete this area. I also have cherry trees from Little Branch at home also. I love that you can change the seasons to fit the landscape.
So feeling very satisfied with my garden creation, I think that this will be the first of many blog posts, featuring both exterior and interior decor from now on. Thank you for reading, have a great weekend and until next time …
