Vintage Fever – Part 1
The SL Vintage Fair opened it’s three sims on Sunday 5th August to an army of men and women all eagerly awaiting to visit and pick up some classic, chic or retro pieces from times gone by.
With this in mind I decided to jump on the band wagon and put together some classic vintage looks, which I have been meaning to do for some time. My first look is dedicated to a beautiful icon of the silver screen, Audrey Hepburn. She is so elegant and her style so chic.
I had these two pictures professionally done by a relatively new photographer, KristiLeah at Urban Photography Studio and I have to say she did an amazing job. These photos are wonderful. I can’t thank Kristi enough.

Staying with the silver screen, I now move onto a film that is often described as “Marmite” or if you live in Australia “Vegemite”. The film Titanic is one that people either love or hate. A true story from April 1912 about a ship that hits an iceberg in the Atlantic. I don’t need to continue with the story, as everyone knows this, however, the fashion from the film remake starring the gorgeous Kate Winslet is simply stunning.
Boarding outfit by Theodote Carthage of Cartunno Couture
The outfit you first see Rose wearing as she is just about to board the Titanic is a classic and this particular outfit, designed by Theodote Carthage of Cartunno Couture is the best SL version I have seen so far that I just had to share it with you.
Very stylish and elegant for the early 1900’s and this is only the tip of the fashion iceberg (excuse the pun). In the coming weeks I will be highlighting some more of my vintage favourites, together with some goodies that I also glean from the Vintage Fair.

Lovely photos Piper, I am a big fan of Audrey Hepburn’s classic look.
