Walk on the Wild Side

Posted in High Fashion by Piper Hanriot on November 6, 2011

Hello readers.  In this blog, I’ve taken a walk on the wild side.  Both in SL and RL animal print has come back and seems to be more popular than ever.  Some people are still a bit animal print shy saying they think it looks tacky.   I have searched both SL and the SL marketplace and have found two casual and two formal looks to show you, which are gorgeous and tasteful, not tacky at all, but everyone has their own opinion.  I hope you like these though, I know I certainly do and am not afraid to wear and show them off.

The first casual is a short dress in zebra print by Gawk.  Gawk has made a number of the sassy, sexy little dresses in all animal prints and I think they are great.  Teamed up with a pair of matching zebra shoes or boots (as I am modelling in this picture) you can look gorgeous and wild as you party the night away.

Next is an outfit that was released for winter 2010.  Designed by Sascha Frangilli at Sascha’s designs there are four different animal prints to choose from in this set.  However, wanting to add a little variety of prints in this blog, I have chosen the graceful giraffe.   Sascha has also cleverly made it so the jacket can be adjusted to fit any womanly shape in SL.

My first formal choice is by the talented Bee Dumpling at The White Armory.  Bee has released a three gown collection with a “wild” theme.  The one I am modelling in this picture is called Jungle Fever.  However, you can also get your teeth into or growl with delight at the just as fabulous Eye of the Tiger and Queen of Sheba gowns.

And finally for this blog the most famously used of the animal prints, the leopard as shown by designer Sonia28 Jie at Son!a, this gown is called Wild.  This gown certainly has the grrr factor yet is also elegant and beautiful just like all our wild animals or most of them anyway 🙂

So there you have it, a short dress, a pants set and two stunning gowns, all of which will make you sizzle and sparkle.  So go on be a little wild, the men love it!  Until next time…
